Description of the Golf Course

Lake Buena Vista Golf Course at Walt Disney World Golf Resort is a classic country club course with a distinctive atmosphere. In the words of architect Joe Lee, it is "exciting, challenging, yet fun to play."

Lake Buena Vista is a meandering golf course that winds its way through pastel villas, dense pine forests, palmettos and sparkling lakes. Lee's design is characterized by small, slightly elevated, well-protected bunkered greens that force the golfer to make accurate shots to score well. The beautiful seventh hole has an island green to shoot at that will challenge any golfer.

The golf course is short and tight, but the views and fairways are wide and open. Lake Buena Vista measures 6,819 yards from the blue tees, with a course rating of 72.7 and a slope rating of 128.
